The hurricane pml application was designed to give insurance agencies the ability to track, visualize, and, analyze natural disasters, in an effort to analyse and mitigate large claim risks. The key feature of the application is the ability to run PML calculations against insured properties based on historic, current, projected, or theoretical natural disasters.
Technologies Used
The client-side portion of the application was built using Flex, which consumed a set of .NET WCF services which transported data as binary content - to minimize the size of the payload:
